PURPOSE: To execute the initial focusing of the photographing lens of a camera provided with a variable focusing device after finishing the assembly of the camera by executing it by operating an adjusting member provided at a position where it appears at the time of opening a back cover and a fixing member provided to be faced to a hole for a jig piercing from the upper cover of the camera to a fixed lens barrel when the variable power lens of a finder is retraced.

CONSTITUTION: A cam plate 35 for guiding the movement of a rear group lens is pressed by the restoring force of a drawing spring 36, and the tip part of an adjusting screw 37 screwed on the back wall of a fixed lens barrel 30 is pressed to one end of the cam plate 35. The head part of the screw 37 is disposed to appear on the back surface of the camera in the case of opening the back cover. The holes for the jig are formed at the positions of the bottom plate of a finder part, a finder cover and the upper cover where a fixing screw 38 for fixing the cam plate 35 on the lens barrel 30 is opposed. In a state where the variable power lens of the finder is retracted, the variable power lens is retracted from an area linking the holes for jog.
