PURPOSE: To realize the environment in which a multi-medium equipment is operated from other controller via a LAN in a transparent way without need of a special software such as an application software or a device driver, etc., in the control of the multi-medium equipment.
CONSTITUTION: The system is a control system controlling plural peripheral equipments 2 made object unifiedly by one controller 1 via a common communication line, and each of the controller 1 and the plural peripheral equipments 2 has a 2-way interface and object data related to the control of each function are stored in advance in each peripheral equipment 2 and when the controller 1 is connected to a peripheral equipment 2 via a communication line, the controller 1 loads the object data from the peripheral equipment 2 to generate an object corresponding to the peripheral equipment 2 and displays an operation image used to control the peripheral equipment 2 based on the object data.
