Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a low-molecular-weight hydrocarbon with a high conversion rate and a good selectivity, through oxidative coupling of methane.

CONSTITUTION: In a method for oxidative coupling of methane on a manganese molecular sieve, methane is passed through a microwave plasma activation flow reaction zone onto a manganese molecular sieve catalyst, whereby a polymer-free methane-coupled product is prepared and then recovered.
