Abstract:
PURPOSE:To automatize decision of the fault of water film prick by comparing a temperature of each part of a temperature picture picked up by an infrared ray camera with an ice depositted temperature for each pixel and to prevent the deformation of an evaporation panel caused by the fault. CONSTITUTION:A processing means 9 applies pre-processing to a temperature picture of an evaporator panel 5 obtained by an infrared ray camera 7 to obtain a temperature picture in a predetermined monitor range. Then a temperature of each part of the temperature picture is compared with an ice deposition temperature for each pixel to obtain the number of pixels whose temperature is less than the ice deposition temperature. Then the obtained number of pixels is compared with a setting number to decide a water film prick fault. Thus, the decision of the water film prick fault on the evaporator panel 5 is not affected by a change in a sea water temperature on each season or change in an LNG flow rate and high speed processing is attained by a simple device. Furthermore, when a setting temperature compared with a temperature of the pixel is a temperature adding a predetermined temperature difference to the ice deposition temperature, production of ice deposition is detected just before to raise an alarm early.
