Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nano-emulsion having high storage stability, keeping high transparency, exhibiting good cosmetic properties and capable of holding a large amount of oil by including a surfactant, an oil and an ionic amphiphatic lipid.
SOLUTION: The objective nano-emulsion contains an oil phase dispersed in a water phase and composed of oil droplets having a number-average diameter of <100 nm and contains (A) a surfactant exhibiting solid state at ≤45°C and selected from a sorbitan fatty ester and oxyethylenated sorbitan fatty ester, (B) an oil having a molecular weight of >400 and (C) an ionic amphiphatic lipid selected from a dicetyl and dimyristyl phosphate alkali salt, a cholesterol sulfate alkali salt, a cholesterol phosphate alkali salt, a lipoamino acid, a phosphatidic acid sodium salt, a cationic amphiphatic lipid and an alkylsulfone derivative. The ratio of the amount of the oil phase to that of the component A is 2-10.
