Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanomist and negative ion generator provided with a breakwater body that can prevent rotation of stored water and that does not obstruct heating of the stored water.SOLUTION: A nanomist and negative ion generator comprises: a heater 22 heating water stored in a water storage chamber 8 and provided on an outer peripheral wall of the water storage chamber 8; a cylindrical rotational body 17 having a lower end submerged in the stored water of this water storage chamber 8; a cylindrical porous body 20 located on an outer circumference of an upper portion of this rotational body 17 and driven to rotate together with the rotational body 17 by a drive motor 13, pumped water being scattered and struck against the cylindrical porous body 20 by a centrifugal force generated by this rotation; and a blower 4 emitting nanomist and negative ions generated by fragmenting the water by this porous body 20 into a room from a diffuser 31. A breakwater body 24 including a water rotation prevention plate 27 preventing a fall in a water level at a rotation center generated by rotation of the rotational body 17 is provided in the water storage chamber 8, and a notch portion 29 that does not obstructs transfer of heat to the water from the heater 22 is formed in a peripheral wall of this breakwater body 24 facing the heater 22.
