Abstract:
To provide a new compound suitable as an electron transport material for organic electrophotographic photoreceptors, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor of higher sensitivity than conventional ones.
The new compound is a naphthalenecarboxylic acid derivative of formula(1)[ wherein, X and Z are each H or a group selected from a (substituted) aryl, (substituted) alkyl, (substituted) cycloalkyl and (substituted) aralkyl; Y is a group selected from those with structures represented by formula(2); and n is an integer of 0-3 ].
