Title:
NAPPED FABRIC FOR BOARDLIKE BUILDING MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06280130
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a napped fabric capable of bonding to the back surface of a boardlike building material and remarkably improving the joining properties to mortar by anchoring effects on the interior of the mortar and to provide a method for producing the napped fabric.

CONSTITUTION: A boardlike building material is produced by knitting a knitted fabric, composed of a front and a back knitted fabrics constructed from synthetic fiber and connecting looped yarn, used for connecting and joining the front to the back knitted fabrics and having ≥4mm pile length at ≥20 pile yarns 33/cm2 density and having ≥100g/m2 basis weight of the knitted fabric and then cutting the resultant double knitted fabric from the central part. Otherwise, a multiple pile woven fabric, composed of pile yarn, constructed from the synthetic fiber, connecting and bonding at least two upper and lower ground woven fabrics and having ≥50 denier single yarn size and ≥4mm pile length at ≥20 pile yarns/cm2 density and having ≥100g/m2 basis weight of the multiple pile woven fabric is woven and the pile yarn is then cut to produce the boardlike building material.
