Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural dye dyeing method using an atmospheric pressure plasma, capable of improving a dyeing effect by mutual chemical reaction of a natural dye, metal catalyst, and fiber.SOLUTION: A mordant is created by blending copper or iron and aluminum mordant (density of 25%) to pure water, and as a dye, a sappanwood (natural dye) is used for creating a solution (sappanwood density of 5%) with the pure water. The mordant and cellulosic fiber are put in a dish 7, then distance between the dish 7 and a nozzle position of a plasma generator 1 is set to 5 mm and plasma radiation is performed for 10 minutes.
