The atmospheric temperature is measured by a temperature sensor 13, and a compressor 11 is started to compress and fill a natural gas fed from a city gas piping 1 to a gas cylinder 3 until the pressure measured by a pressure sensor 14 reaches pressure which is set depending on the atmospheric temperature. And a timer 18 which can count a specific time, one hour, for example, is started to count the passing time after the compressor 11 is stopped, and after a specific time has passed, the atmospheric temperature is measured again by the temperature sensor 13, and the compressor 11 is started again and the natural gas is filled to the gas cylinder 3, until the pressure measured by the pressure sensor 14 reaches the object pressure which is set depending on the atmospheric temperature.
