Abstract:
To provide a novel multilayer stack material or web material that is suitably used in various applications and substantially made from natural fibers, use of the same, and a manufacturing method.SOLUTION: There is provided a nonwoven material comprising a multilayer stack, in which the multilayer stack comprises individual interconnection layers. Each of these layers may be the same or different and comprises a composite fiber composed of about 80-100%w/w of leaf fibers or stem fibers and about 1-20%w/w of a polymer. The polymer is fusible at a temperature of about 180°C or lower. There is also provided a novel method for enzyme-degumming leaf fibers and/or stem fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: None
