Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave power generator reduced in size, capable of employing a short length spring with high spring constants.SOLUTION: This wave power generator 1 includes: a vibrating body 3 installed inside a floating body 2 via a spring 4 and making reciprocating linear motion in the vertical direction in response to the vertical movement of a water surface 7; and a generator driven based on the reciprocating linear motion of the vibrating body 3 for generating electric power. The vibration body 3 is provided with an additional mass body 6 for adding mass Δm to mass mof the vibrating body.
