Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide natural wood thin paper which has a quality of a natural wood as it is, in which a hue is present clearly, and in which an optional hue can be achieved, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided natural wood thin paper in which a backsheet 8 is bonded to a back surface of an ultrathin sliced veneer 1 formed of a natural wood, and a dye including resin 3A permeates the inside of a duct of the ultrathin sliced veneer 1. A production method of the natural wood thin paper comprises: a step I for bonding and coloring for bonding the backsheet 8 mainly formed of paper or nonwoven fabric to the back surface of the sliced veneer formed by slicing the natural wood with an adhesive agent containing a dye material; and a step II for grinding and polishing for polishing the backsheet 8 on the sliced venner 1 by a grinding and polishing machine for making the sliced venner the ultrathin sliced venner 1 whose thickness is 0.05-0.1 mm.EFFECT: Since the dye containing resin permeates an early wood and a late wood forming a grain, a hue is provided without change of a contrast of a grain, and a decorative sheet having an optional hue while maintaining a character of a natural wood can be produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
