A navigation device that performs route guidance of a movable body includes: a reception unit that can receive route data for performing route guidance, from an external terminal that shares the current position of the movable body in movement with the navigation device, during the movement of the movable body; and a guide unit that performs route guidance using the route data received by the reception unit.
