To simultaneously perform scrolling and scale changing of map display, using a simple operation.

In a navigation device, an enlargement scroll button 310 and a reduction scroll button 312 are displayed on a display 12, on which the map 300 and a current position mark 302 are displayed. When a user touches a region where the enlargement scroll button 310 or the reduction scroll button 312 is displayed, the screen is scrolled, in a direction which corresponds to the position of the button. Furthermore, at the same time as (in parallel with) scrolling, the scale change, to a scale corresponding to the button (enlargement or reduction) is performed.
