A starting position p1 of a user and an objective position p2 thereof are recognized by this navigation server 100 based on its communication with this navigation device 200, and a support route R is set connecting the starting position p1 and the objective position p2. A plurality of links constituting part of the support route R are recognized by the navigation device 200 based on communication with the navigation server 100. Further, a navigation route r, including a plurality of links connecting the starting position p1 and the objective position p2, is set by the navigation device 200. Furthermore, it is determined by the navigation device 200 whether or not a deviation is equal to or less than a threshold i, the deviation being between a distance d1i along the support route R and a distance d2i along the navigation route r in a pair of links adjoining each other among the plurality of links. The navigation route r is outputted through an output device 202 by making it a requisite that the result of the determination is affirmative.
