Abstract:
To effectively support a user so as to be able to smoothly move even when a plurality of intersections to be bent are closely present in a guide route.SOLUTION: A navigation device includes a map display unit for displaying a map on a first display device to display a guide route and a current position on the map, and a scale determination unit for determining a scale of the map to be displayed on the first display unit. The scale determination unit reduces the scale as the current position approaches an intersection requiring a direction change along the guide route, and enlarges the scale as the current position moves across the intersection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
