Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure reliability of information display by installing a display control means, and discernable displaying roads wherein it is judged that traffic is not obstructed and roads wherein information signals from other vehicles are not received. SOLUTION: This navigation equipment receives information signals from other vehicles. On the basis of the signals, a traffic state discriminating means discriminates whether the traffic of the road where other vehicles are traveling is obstructed. A display control means is installed which can discern roads where the traffic is obstructed. The roads wherein it is discriminated by the information signals from other vehicles that the traffic of the roads wherein other vehicles are traveling is not obstructed, and the roads wherein information signals from other vehicles are not received are dissernably displayed by the display control means. The crew of a vehicle which receives the information signals from other vehicles visually recognizes the display, based on the information signals. As a result, the roads where the traffic is obstructed and the roads where the traffic is not obstructed are discriminated and recognized quite obviously.
