When displaying the retrieval result, a state detecting section 42 detects whether a vehicle is driving or the stopping as the vehicle running state, and a changing section 43 changes a display mode of the facility which is retrieved according to the detected running state. Moreover, the scale of map display may be changed by a scale changing section 44 so that at least one retrieved facility may be displayed on the map. In such a case, as one example of the scale change, the scale changing section 44 may change the scale so that all facilities which are retrieved may be displayed.
