Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of relatively accurately searching for a train which one can board from a target station without involving time and effort.
SOLUTION: When a destination is set at a station or the vicinity of the station (step 100), a guidance route to the station is retrieved to display a road map indicating the guidance route on a screen of a display (step 101). A predicted time at which one's own car reach the station in the case of traveling the guidance route is determined (step 102). When a user requests the display of a timetable (steps 103 and 104), timetable data at the station within a prescribed periord of time before and after the determined predicted arrival time (step 107), the timetable is displayed on the display on the basis of this (step 108).
