PURPOSE: To shorten a teaching time for forming visual recognition data in a mounting machine by automatically forming board pattern data to be used for the visual recognition as one of library data at the time of registering.
CONSTITUTION: Data such as a component code, a placing position, a placing angle, etc., to be placed on a board are stored in a placing data file 8. Data regarding the component and a window constant value file 10 are input, and a component data file 9 and a default board pattern data file are formed. A plurality of parameters for automatically forming the board patterned data for the visual recognition are input, and output to the file 10. A mounting machine inputs taught board pattern data 13 and updates a default board pattern data file 11. The various files 8, 9, 10, 11 formed as above are input, and NC data 12 to be operated in the machine are formed.
