Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate not only an easy extraction of the data when necessary but the transformation of the data, by executing the model copying action by the tracer head which can shift toward the X-, Y- and Z-axis directions and thus forming the NC data to fix it to the memory device. CONSTITUTION:The model 7 is fixed onto the table 1. The stylus 6 detects the unevenness of the model 7 by the saddle shifting toward the X and Y directions and then moves toward the Z direction. With the shift of the stylus 6, the shape of the model 7 is obtained in the form of the extents of displacement epsilonx, epsilony and epsilonz in the X, Y and Z directions. Then a sampling is carried out for the extent of displacement in a proper time interval, and then an operation is given to the extents epsilonx, epsilony and epsilonz to be obtained to produce the data for the model shape and then to store it into the external memory device such as the floppy disk or the like. Based on this data, the magnification, the reduction and furthermore the formation of the concave form to the convex form, etc. can be carried out.
