To provide an ND filter (neutral density filter) capable of suppressing occurrence of ghosts.SOLUTION: An ND filter includes: a board 11 having dimming characteristics for reducing quantity of transmitted light; a dimming layer 12 that is formed on one surface of the board 11 having dimming characteristics and has dimming characteristics for reducing quantity of passing light; and a reflection prevention layer 13 that is formed on the other surface of the board 11 having dimming characteristics and prevents reflection of light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
