Abstract:
To provide a near infarared (IR) ray absorbing film having excellent durability while keeping the shielding property against near IR rays and transmitting property for visible light in a wide wavelength region.
The near IR absorbing film has a base material and a near IR ray absorbing layer containing a diimmonium compound which shows the endothermic peak at ≥200°C by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) at 10°C/minutes temperature rising rate. The diimmonium compound preferably shows the endothermic peak at 225 to 240°C by DSC at 10°C/minute temperature rising rate.
