Abstract:
To provide a near infrared-absorbing material and a heat radiation- blocking material suitable for outdoor use for a long period of time and particularly excellent in heat cycle characters.
This near infrared-absorbing material contains a phthalocyanine pigment of the formula (X1-X16 are each a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; at least one from X1, X4, X5, X8, X9, X12, X13 and X16 represents an oxy or thio group linking to an aromatic group or alicyclic group bearing a monovalent substituent more bulky than hydrogen atom; M represents a center atom). In addition, the objective heat radiation-blocking material comprises a combination of the infrared-absorbing material with an infrared- reflecting layer.
