Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the exposure of a detector directly to the light having high optical intensity with the simple structure by disengaging a light interrupting member from an optical detecting system in interlinking with the introduction of a moving member, on which a sample container is mounted, into the optical detecting system of a near infrared component analyzer, introducing the light shielding member into the optical detecting system in interlinking with the disengagement of the sample container from the optical detecting system by the moving member, and shielding the detector from light.
CONSTITUTION: When a vertical moving member 23 of a near infrared component analyzer is lowered, a projection 36a protruding from a sliding member 36, which is engaged with a notch 23a of the vertical moving member, is lowered until the projection 36a hits the lower end of a long hole 2b. At this time point, the sliding member 36 does not shield a detector 42 from light. The vertical moving member 23 is further lowered, and a mounted sample container 30 is introduced into an optical detecting system. Diffused light is transmitted through the sample so as to reach the detector 42. Thus, the sample component is measured. After the sample measurement, the vertical moving member 23 is lifted, and the sliding member 36 is lifted after the projection 36a is received with the notch 23a. When the vertical moving member 23 is stopped at the upper position, the sliding member 36 shields the detector 42 from the diffused light.
