Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater comprising a filament capable of efficiently converting electric power to near-infrared light that is not absorbed into glass.SOLUTION: A provided near-infrared heater includes an airtight container 2, and a filament 3 that is arranged within the airtight container 2. The airtight container 2 is made of at least a material that allows transmission of near-infrared light with a wavelength of less than 2 μm and visible light and that absorbs infrared light with a wavelength of 2 μm or more. The filament 3 comprises an infrared light suppression structure that suppresses radiation of the infrared light.
