Abstract:
To provide a near-infrared ray-absorbing composition which has a high capability of blocking a near-infrared ray ranging from 700nm to 900 nm, transmits a 940 nm near-infrared ray, and has excellent coating property, a near-infrared ray transmission composition, and an optical filter formed by using the same.SOLUTION: A near-infrared ray-absorbing composition includes two kinds or more of squarylium dye (A) that has maximum absorption wavelength between 800 and 900 nm within a range of 400 to 1000 nm. When the maximum absorption wavelength of a first squarylium dye (A-1) is λ1max and the maximum absorption wavelength of a second squarylium dye (A-2) is λ2max, the following formula (1) is satisfied: formula (1) 0 nm<λ2max-λ1max≤100 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
