PURPOSE: To surely prevent a lowering of quality of a can by detecting presence/ absence of supply of a can between an inner roll and outer roll and stopping actuation of a drive mechanism when a can is not fed between both rolls so as to avoid the lubricant stuck to the outer roll is not transferred to the inner roll.

CONSTITUTION: In the case that a can is not fed between both rolls 22, 23 is detected by the detection signal of a can detection device, a stopper means 49 is actuated. That is, by actuating of an actuator 47 constituting the stopper means 49, an engaging piece 46 is displaced and is engaged to a second moving member 41. By this method, the displacement of second moving member 41 is restricted, a spring member 42 placed between first/second moving members 40, 41 is elastically deformed and then the linked motion of both moving members 41, 42 is separated. The displacement of an inner roll 22, etc., mounted to the second moving member 41 is stopped, the contact of both rolls 22, 24 is avoided.
