To provide a necktie enabling a wearer to wear a necktie having an appropriate length and a trimmed knot part without forming fine arrangement of the knot part or making adjustment of the length of a necktie body, and so designed that only the necktie body part can be freely attached or detached while keeping the knot part formed on the necktie as it is when once worn.

The necktie comprises a knot forming part for forming the knot part of the necktie, a necktie main body part arranged so as to hang downward from the knot part of the necktie, and a joining metal fitting detachably joining the knot forming part to the necktie main body.
