To sharply grind a tip of ice pick, drill, and eyeleteer or the like by forming the inner wall of a recessed part formed in a ceramic body into a grinding surface, and setting the surface roughness of the grinding surface at a specific value.
A cutter grinding tool 10 is formed by inserting a cylindrical bar-like body of ceramics into a fitting recessed part of a grip member 12 made of resin, and bonding them with the adhesive agent. An end surface of the bar-like body 11 is provided with a recessed part 13 extended in the axial direction, and the inner wall of the recessed part 13 is formed into a grinding surface. Surface roughness of the grinding surface 13a of the inner wall of the recessed part 13 of the bar-like body 11 is set at 0.5-3 μm. Furthermore, mean crystal grain diameter is desirably set at 7-15 μm. With this structure, a needle-like cutter can be easily and excellently ground.
