PURPOSE: To obtain a needle point blockade treatment device for a spent medical needle with the tip of a spent medical needle blockaded by electric discharge by providing the spot welding device in which a pair of plus and minus pressure welding pieces for electric discharge is oppositely provided so that the tip of the medical needle inserted into a casing can be nippedly pressed.
CONSTITUTION: When the captioned device is used, a medical needle A is inserted from the small hole 1a of a casing 1 with a needle point a made ahead. This causes the said needle point a to be nippedly pressed with a pair of pressure welding pieces 2a and 2b for electric discharge. However the needle point a is uncrushed at this point of time. Then, when a switch circuit 7 is made switch-on for a short time by a manual operation, a required high voltage current flows to a plus pressure welding piece 2a from a pressure rise circuit 3 for a short time, electric discharge is made between the pieces 2a and 2b, and the needle point a is ignited for a short time. This causes the needle point a ignited to be crushed with the pieces 2a and 2b. Then the pieces 2a and 2b are opened with an actuator, the needle point a is released, and the needle A in which the needle point a is blockaded is took out in the outside of the casing 1.
