To provide a needle punching apparatus for a fiber web, having a simplified structure so that extreme simplification of the structure is guaranteed without requiring removal of a needle bed driving device in the direction of traveling of the fiber web.

This needle punching apparatus for the fiber web has a needle board (1) which is reciprocatingly driven in the direction of punching needles by means of an eccentric wheel driving device, wherein the needle board is axially attached to the eccentric wheel driving device which is equipped with connecting rods (4) and holds two eccentric wheel shafts (2, 3) positioned parallel and driven in the direction reverse to each other by means of push rods (6) which are each supported inside guide sleeves (7) to be transferred, and each of the guide sleeves (7) is supported so as to be swung around a shaft (8) extending in the direction parallel to the eccentric wheel shafts (2, 3). Further, both of the eccentric wheel shafts (2, 3) have angular positions (ψ) different from each other, and the connecting rods (4) of both the eccentric wheel shafts (2, 3) extend in the direction of inclining to each other.
