Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a multi-functional clock more simply and accurately alignable to a reference position by respectively providing different reference positions at a plurality of functional needles on a dial.
SOLUTION: An hour (minute, second) needle 4 (5, 7) has 360 (180, 60) steps in one round. Reference marks 50 (51, 52) for the hour (minute, second) needle are provided at a 300-th (30-th, 0-th) step. To correct a 0-position, a switch block 23 generates a signal corresponding to a correcting pushbutton. A CPU 20a drives a motor 25 (26, 27) for the hour (minute, second) needle through an hour (minute, second) needle motor driver 46 (47, 48), and handles the hour (minute, second) needle 4 (5, 7). In this handling of the needle, the needle is brought into coincidence with a reference mark 50 (51, 52) for the hour (minute, second) needle to correct the needle position. After the correction, the block 23 generates a needle position correction signal S, and a needle position counter initializing means 44 sets the a value of 300, (30, 0) to the hour (minute, second) needle position counter 40 (41, 42). Accordingly, the respective needles can be aligned to the reference positions without mutually superposing.
