Abstract:
To improve capacity maintenance factor at charge and discharge cycle while maintaining high discharge capacity.
The surface of a negative active material particle containing a transition element, and elements of group 12, group 13, group 14 element excluding carbon, or group 15 is coated by a metal or alloy film containing at least one kind out of cobalt, iron, palladium, platinum, nickel, copper, tin, chromium, and zinc that is formed by plating method, and the cover rate by the metal or alloy film is 5% or more of the total surface area of the negative active material particle, and the weight of the metal or alloy film is in the range 0.01 wt.% or more and 70 wt.% or less of the total weight.
