Abstract:
To provide an anode capable of realizing sufficient battery cycle characteristics while including a silicon-based anode material, a lithium ion secondary battery comprising the anode, and a manufacturing method of the lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an anode which includes anode active material particles and is charged at least once. In the anode, the anode active material particle contains a silicon oxide particle coated by a carbon layer, and the silicon oxide particle contains Li2SiO3 at least partially. An outermost surface of the anode active material particle is covered by a composite coating containing Si, O, C and H. A TOF-SIMS spectrum obtained by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry regarding a surface of the anode active material particle has as a peak of negative secondary ions at least one of a peak assigned to SiHO3-, a peak assigned to SiO2CH3-, and a peak assigned to SiOCH3-.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
