Abstract:

To improve discharging characteristics while suppressing the amount of generated gas, and to raise yield of zinc group alloy fine particles when producing them using equipment for atomizing or the like, in the zinc group alloy fine particles for a negative electrode of an alkaline battery.

The zinc group alloy fine particles are produced by adding to zinc 0.001 to 0.5 weight % of bismuth, 0.001 to 0.5 weight of tin, 0.001 to 0.3 weight % of titanium, and 0.001 to 0.5 weight % of aluminum. Moreover, the zinc group alloy fine particle are produced by adding to zinc 0.001 to 0.5 weight % of bismuth, 0.001 to 0.5 weight of tin, 0.001 to 0.5 weight % of zirconium, and 0.001 to 0.5 weight % of aluminum.
