Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a liquid crystal display panel which has mean brightness by preventing a linear light leak part where there is no black mask from being formed at the joint part of two electrode panels when a large-sized display panel is obtained by joining both the electrode panels. CONSTITUTION:When the two electrode panels A and B are joined together, an array of black masks (x), (x) ... on a common electrode X positioned at the joint part of one electrode panel B is provided mutually successively at the joint end sides by black masks x', x' and the black mask edges are made to slightly cross (overlap with) the edges of segment electrodes Y, Y ... of an opposite electrode panel A, thereby preventing the linear light leak part from being formed at the joint part of both the electrode panels A and B.
