PURPOSE: To provide a negative type disc brake device which is small in the number of parts, highly reliable and capable of continuously self-adjusting.

CONSTITUTION: A negative type disc brake device is provided with a strut member 22 one end of which is oscillatingly and pivotably supported by levers 3, 4 and an adjustment holder 24 which is oscillatingly and axially supported in the vicinity of a cam 16, provided with an engagement hole to be freely fitted with the other end of the strut member 22 on the free end side, and abutted on the working surface of the cam 16 at the intermediate part. A spring 25 b be engaged with the strut member 22 in a pothook manner by energizing the adjustment holder 24 so as to be tilted in one direction relative to the strut member 22 is provided.
