Abstract:
To realize a twisted nematic (TN) and a super twisted nematic (STN) liquid crystal display which has in particular a very short response time and is excellent in steepness and angle dependency.
The liquid crystal mixture comprises at least one compound represented by formula I, wherein R11 is a 2-7C alkenyl or alkenyloxy group, and R12 is a 1-12C alkyl or alkoxy group or a 2-12C alkenyl or alkenyloxy group in which CH2 group may be substituted.
