Title:
NERVE-SPECIFIC ENOLASE PROTEIN MANIFESTATION VECTOR AND USE OF THE SAME PROTEIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06217780
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To supply a large amount of human nerve specific enolase (NSE) by gene manipulation at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A DNA encoding human nerve specific enolase (NSE) is inserted into the downstream of tac promoter of manifestation vector pKK233-2 to give NSE protein manifestation vector. Further a protein obtained by manifesting the vector and use of the protein as immunogen, a labeled substance and a standard article. Since the prepared NSE protein has the same immunological properties as those of natural NSE protein, a large amount of a raw material required for immunological measurement can be inexpensively supplied.
