PURPOSE: To improve attachability/detachability by easily attaching/detaching side edge parts to/from poles.

CONSTITUTION: Concerning the net for ball game spread between poles 4 installed on the left and right sides at the center of a ball game field and equipped with side edge parts 6 along the poles 4, the side edge part 6 is provided with a cover band 10 for covering a gap between this edge part 6 and the pole 6, and this cover band 10 is provided with a winging part 11, which is wound around the pole 4, over the almost full length of the side edge part 6. Then, this winding part 11 is composed of a pair of band-shaped winding pieces 12 and 12 sharing its base terminal part each other. One winding element 12 is provided with an engage part 15a of a velvet fastener 15, the other winding piece 12 is provided with a part 15b to be engaged of the velvet fastener 15 and further, a notch 13 is formed from the top end part to the base end part of the winding piece 12.
