A main part of this net for construction work is formed of a paper string made of base paper containing conifer kraft pulp as a main raw material. The basis weight is 20 to 80 g/m2, and the base paper is made by a cylinder paper machine to obtain the base paper with an aspect ratio of tensile strength of JIS P 8113 being 5 to 15. Further, a wet paper strength increasing agent can be included.
