PURPOSE: To increase a reinforcing effect for the ground and the workability for laying down, by coating bundles of highly elastic fibers having a specified tensile elasticity and fracture elongation with a thermoplastic resin to constitute a net molding having a specified length and thickness.
CONSTITUTION: Highly elastic fibers 2 such as extremely extensible polyacetal fibers having 20 Gpa or more tensile elasticity and 10% or less fracture elongation are arranged by two respectively in the longitudinal and lateral directions to weave them for a net. And the net is coated with a thermoplastic resin 3 like rubber, wax, etc., to make a net molding 1 with 1-6mm thickness and 10-60mm length at the one side of opening 4. Banking, soft ground, road bed, asphalt-pavement, etc., are reinforced by this net molding 1. In this way, since it is high in the pulling out resistance, low in the elongation, durable against aggregates and shock loads, high in workability for laying down, and good in the laid down condition, the utilizing value as a reinforcing material can be remarkably increased.
