A network communication route control system has: a communication route control server 1 controlling a communication route; a first SW card 21 connected to the communication route control server 1; at least one second SW cards 22 and 23 connected to both of the communication route control server 1 and the first SW card 21; and a plurality of control devices 31 to 36 connected to the second SW cards 22 and 23. The first SW card 21 and the second SW cards 22 and 23 perform data switching among the control devices 31 to 36. The communication route control server 1 performs monitoring of a communication route for each of the control devices 31 to 36 through the first SW card 21 and the second SW cards 22 and 23. Thereby, specification of a failure location and setting of a usable communication route are performed, when a failure occurs in the communication route.
