Abstract:
To provide operability to a user independently or service utilizing positions on a network.
A network computer system using a network computer(NC) 2 driven by downloading an OS from a network 1 is provided with an NC server including a subnet connection NC processing means for providing the OS to the NC connected to the network managed by the server itself and a slave NC processing means for realizing a user environment for the NC belonging to the server itself, an authentication server 21 for authenticating the user of the NC and a home NC server position information notifying means 22 for giving the positional information of the NC server to which the NC concerned belongs to the NC whose user is authenticated by the server 21.
