Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network line concentrator which has a small size and can be set up in a narrow space.
SOLUTION: A network line concentrator 1 is provided with a small-sized narrow and long rectangular enclosure 16 which houses a power source circuit block, a network control circuit block which controls network communication, etc. Indicating LEDs 3 for indicating the communicating state of the line concentrator 1 are arranged on the largest surface 16a of the enclosure 16, and a power cord 4 is drawn out from the smallest surface 16b of the enclosure 16. In addition, modular jack connectors 2a to which communication cables front the terminals of a personal computer, etc., are arranged on the intermediate surface 16c of the enclosure 16.
