To provide a method of restarting a stopped node in a network which is performed without causing degradation of communication quality such as packet loss, in a technique of achieving the restart of a stopped node by an autonomous-decentralized procedure.
In a network where multiple nodes are connected to one another by respective links (layer 2 topology), when partial nodes are assumed to be stopped nodes, layer 3 topology including the stopped nodes is calculated by considering a usage situation of the network by an autonomous-decentralized procedure; and, when restarting the plurality of stopped nodes present in a path of the calculated layer 3 topology, timing of path calculation processing start is set at the same time in all the node in the network including the plurality of stopped nodes having been restarted.
