Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a network monitoring camera system to easily detect the changing timing of transferred image data, even if an unsettled delay occurs in the arrival time of the image data, when the image data are transferred through a network.
SOLUTION: The network monitoring camera system is constituted of a monitoring camera, having a compression-encoding function, a compressed image transferring data control function, and a network transfer control function, the network, and a monitoring camera system controller having a network transfer control function, and a compressed image transferring data control function. Since pixel number changing flag is stored in a header for transferring compressed image, the pixel number changing timing of transferred image data can be detected easily, even when the unsettled delay occurs in the arrival time of the image data, when the image data are transferred through the network.
