Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel network polymer having a rotaxane structure in which a plurality of cyclic compounds are threaded by a linear compound, and to provide a polymer gel electrolyte which can be used as an electrolyte for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery such as a magnesium secondary battery and has high safety, high fastness, and high ionic conductivity at the same time.SOLUTION: A novel network polymer having a rotaxane structure includes a unit (A) comprising 1 to (m+1) crown ether compound units, having two terminal unsaturated bonds in a skewered state, per one linear unit represented by the formula 1. A polymer gel electrolyte using a solution containing a compound represented by R-Mg-X has both high safety and high ionic conductivity, and can be used as an electrolyte for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery such as a magnesium secondary battery.
